The Drake and Wrigley Hardware Journal has become
ubiquitous in architect's libraries and throughout the building
industry in New Zealand since its release in 1994.
As this was to be the primary piece of marketing collateral, and
their position was to reflect their high quality of production
and attention to detail, it was necessary to produce a high quality
document, albeit economically.
A totally flexible format was also required allowing further pages
to be added without difficulty or cost.
For economy, all the content pages were printed with common 2-colour
plates, with changing content only being in the black plate. The
only 4-colour work is in the dividers and the cover. The overall
impression is of a full colour publication.
Pro Design featured the new catalogue with a cover story in February
1995.
