To promote their new studio Chris and Pam wanted to invite clients to a party. As with all Black Box promotions this was to be typically original in style and execution, but after the capital outlay of setting up a new studio it was necessary to minimise production costs. Chris suggested visually playing with the motion idea and required that no photography be used. By outputting the box as a line screen on layers of lithographic film at slightly different angles, the resulting moire effect gave the appearance of a moving box. Print's worst output nightmare made good.
