In 1998 I wanted to do a self-promotional item that suggested print,
too, is an interactive medium. It was my reaction to "The
Death of Print" as heralded by the new(ish) dot-commers.
It was a very inexpensive 2-colour piece (thanks to my friends
at Acme) that came with a whiteboard marker which could be used
to write removable messages in the speech-bubble.
The type was hand-set using wood type.
Unfortunately the self-promotional message was lost because nobody
could see me under the newspapers.
